Bug Tracking System

We developed a Mac OS Cocoa based problem tracking system for a major computer company. This tool is used to manage the defects in hardware and software products. It provides a real-time system to collect and analyze information about bugs. It also acts as a tool to route bug information to the developers who work on the products so that they can easily find and fix the affected code. Finally, it provides powerful reporting tools to senior management so that they can track the pulse of development projects.

File Distribution System

Working for a computer company, we developed a Mac OS Cocoa based file distribution system. It provides a vault for the storage and retrieval of engineering and release documents used in the design, development, manufacturing, localization and release of products. It provides the ability to view, upload, save and replicate files. At its core, it is a file transfer application with complex security and business rules layered on top of it.

Software Update System

For a computer electronics client, we developed an application for updating software on end users machines. Managed applications can check for a new version each time the application is launched ensuring that the user is always on the current release of the application. Our system provides complex software installation features including digital signatures, software patching, updating multiple install locations, and the ability to execute pre/post-install scripts.

Online Retail App

We developed the first iPhone application for a major online retailer. This app allows the user to browse products by category, search products by name, add items to a shopping cart, and pay using a credit card. It also supports a lucky "deal of the day" feature. It offers a REST Web Services interface to the retailers back end system giving them full control of all orders. We participated in the design, construction, test and publishing of the App on the App Store.

Scientific App

We developed the first iPhone application for a major biotechnology company. This app allows the user to browse interactive science reference documents on their mobile device. It also includes Biomath calculators that scientists can use at their lab bench. Developed using the iPhone SDK, all of the pages leveraged the clients existing process for producing content using XML, XSL and CSS.
